Nelumbo Nucifera 
Commonly referred to as the ‘Pink sacred lotus’
appreciated for not only its magnetic beauty but for its floral rich taste & benefits. From the petals to the lotus seeds, my favorite medicinal properties that it possesses is Neferine, a therapeutic alkaloid I like to call it & also a active compound in the well known Blue Water lily of the Nile acting as a wonderful anti-depressant as it contains sedative qualities. Great for those looking for a delightful light tea or as an add on to an uplifting tonic blend!
Harvested in East Texas, slowly dried on low temperatures!
